“AtmAsfera” and Alien DNA:
underground. For now.

Alien DNA. We are coming out slowly
from after New Year’s sleeping timeJ And Ukrainian music does as well gradually.
For now we would like to offer you a photo report on recent concert
of two nice bands: “AtmAsfera” and not known formation before that
– Alien DNA.
Both teams played on a very professional
quality level. If the first team is quite famous to the audience thanks
to their victory at Kiev festival “Global Battle of the Bands”,
Alien DNA is a team, practically speaking, unknown. It is not surprising,
because the band exists only a few months, and according to Svyat front
man’s words, the band is still searching for their sound and they
oftentimes make their concerts for free at Kiev House of Profspilka.
Nevertheless, musical material of this band surprise with their quality,
and lyrics – not routine ideas and deep sense. Dear reader, we have
here a band worthy of your attention. Their next concert is this Saturday,
27 January, at the House of Profspilka (Independence Square, 2, small
hall, 2nd floor). Starting at 6pm. Go and see them ;) ...
“AtmAsfera” band is worthy
of respects not less than the previous one, and on the rights of “elder
brother” they played longer than Alien DNA. Fascinating music and
voice as one of the many instruments in the band immersed the audience
in magical semi-meditation atmosphere and they as if have realized the
words of the song: "Close your eyes and listen to your heart, and
you will find forgotten love" and dived within and into their thoughts
being awoken during a couple of dynamic and light compositions. No doubt
“AtmAsfera” absolutely justifies all the positive reviews and, no
doubt, it is the main musical discovery of 2006 in Ukrainian music.
Yuliya Yaremchuk (voice, keyboard) says that now they negotiate with
recording studios issuance of their debut CD "…forgotten love",
but this process goes quite hard and therefore no sense revealing any
details. Still “AtmAsfera” fans and simply interested people have
an opportunity to listen to demo-fragments of this album on their official
website. Although, of course, if you have a chance to listen to their
alive concert, don’t miss it, moreover, most of time their concerts
are for free. And hopefully for now only. Because after all what has
been heard and seen there comes a conclusion: “AtmAsfera”, as well
as “Alien DNA”, are worthy of performing at the best concert stages
of the country and having proper award for this. Hopefully this will
occur shortly.
