Pall Moria would get envious of «AtmAsfera»

In Kiev there were two significant concert of extremely interesting band “AtmAsfera”. 

The first one was in an overloaded hall of Cinema House where, apart from music and songs, there were presentations of three compositions of duet that fitted well in the style of “AtmAsfera”. Next day, thanks to support of charity fund “Nova hvylya”, there was a private concert where one could talk to musicians; also there they watched a video film and a short theater play of a young director Yuriya Beztalannogo.

According to vocalist’s words, Yuliya Yaremchuk, “AtmAsfera” project started from philosophical program “Coming back”. “AtmAsfera” band has been changing their members, but they would always keep to their creative principle: «We are united by a bit contradictory idea – we create music not for us … If a person looks for self-affirmation, then he finds satisfaction in outer world, and a person has to search this satisfaction within and share it with others…Sometimes when I go out, I see on the street sad people and I would like so much their faces to shine with smiles!”

As to music, the songs of ethno band have something in common with the creativity of such musical grands as Jetro Tall, ENIA and philosophy of cult super band «Pink Floyd» and this also tells about something.

But at the same time “AtmAsfera” has an individual face. Fascinating melodies played virtuously by Igor Sas (guitar), Oleksandr Goncharuk (“Viy”)(violin), Taras Melnichenko (darabuka), Andriy Cherkasov “Jordan”(bass-guitar) and incomparable vocalists sisters Yaremchuk – Nastya (voice, flute) and Yulya (voice, keyboard)who sing in Ukrainian, polish, English and Sanskrit… can be a serious competitor for any modern orchestra of instrumental music. Maestro Pall Moria would be fascinated, if financially and in mass media “AtmAsfera” would be a cult grand musical band not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe and USA!

Last year the band took part in international festival “Woodstock” in Poland and it was admitted to be the best in ethno style: we must say that there come musicians from all over the world. And I think, that this band should be immediately placed on “Eurovision”. Let’s recollect Ruslana’s success –

the reason was in this combination of modern performance based on ancient ethno music of Ukraine.

And at the end I would like to wish this talented band to make a musical project with Roman Grynkovskiy and his modernized bandura which attracts the stars of world jazz by its incomparable sound, because improvisation is a visiting card of “AtmAsfera” … And I would like to recommend to all the audience, that when you see a poster with unknown title “AtmAsfera” (don’t confuse it with «atmosphere»), don’t miss their concert – you won’t regret!
