Just imagine that you teach singing at kinder garden and in one class there is a 5 year old boy screaming in your ears. I could stop the sound of our car’s engine with my voice! My parents had to send me to choir to save their nerves, their ears and their good relationships with the neighbors. This worked and I quit singing shortly after. As a side effect of this “treatment” I was sent to music school on bayan. They were afraid that I would start making a tour with this instrument, so they found a piano named “Bluthner” and my fate was made.

At school aside from math class, geography, teachers and dealings with the head-master, there were breaks when we played different instruments in an experimental style, our band was called “ABC-music”. We lasted until the mid 90^’s, then after years of former Soviet Union collapse, I started again, but this time as a bass-guitar player in AtmAsfera. I won’t speak any further, just take our music, listen to it and most importantly – listen to the texts.
